What is MelodyPulse?
MelodyPulse is a music streaming platform built for discovering fresh, authentic music from emerging Kenyan artists. You can stream live for free or subscribe to unlock full control over your listening experience.
Is MelodyPulse free?
Yes — the live stream is completely free with no sign-up required. Subscribe to unlock additional features like song selection, playlists, and favourites.
Is MelodyPulse available in my country?
The live stream is accessible globally. Subscriptions currently require M-Pesa, so payment is limited to M-Pesa users (Kenya). We plan to add more payment options over time.
How does MelodyPulse support new artists?
We give emerging Kenyan artists a dedicated platform with a growing listener base. Artists also earn royalties based on qualified stream counts — the more their songs are played, the more they earn.
Account & Subscription
How do I create an account?
Click Sign In on the homepage. You can sign up instantly using your Google or Facebook account — no passwords required.
What subscription plans are available?
We offer three plans, all unlocking the full feature set:
- Daily — KES 10 / 24 hours
- Weekly — KES 50 / 7 days (most popular)
- Monthly — KES 200 / 30 days (best value)
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently support M-Pesa only. A payment prompt (STK push) is sent to your phone — enter your M-Pesa PIN to complete the transaction.
Are refunds available?
Subscription payments are non-refundable once the subscription has been activated and access has been granted.
How do I check whether my subscription is active?
Go to Account in the sidebar. Your current subscription status and expiry time are shown there.
Using the Platform
How does the live stream work?
The live stream plays a continuous non-stop playlist of songs from our catalogue, 24/7. Every visitor hears the same stream — it's like tuning into a radio station. No sign-in required.
What can I do with a subscription?
Subscribers get full on-demand access: browse songs by artist, play any track, repeat or skip, build playlists, and mark favourites — all from the Songs section.
Can I create and share playlists?
Yes, subscribers can create and manage custom playlists. Playlist sharing with other users is on our roadmap.
What devices does MelodyPulse support?
MelodyPulse is a web application accessible from any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile. A dedicated app is planned for the future.
Technical Support
The stream isn't loading. What should I do?
- Check your internet connection.
- Refresh the page.
- Try a different browser or clear your cache.
- If it still doesn't work, the stream may be temporarily down — check back in a few minutes.
I paid but my subscription isn't active yet. What do I do?
After payment, go to Account → Subscription History and click Check Status next to your latest transaction. If payment went through on M-Pesa, your subscription will activate immediately. If the issue persists, contact us.
How do I report a bug or give feedback?
Email us at contact@melodypulse.com. We read every message and respond within 48 hours.
For Artists
How do I get my music on MelodyPulse?
Artists cannot self-upload at this time. Reach out to us at contact@melodypulse.com and we'll take it from there.
Do artists earn royalties from streams?
Yes. Artists earn royalties based on qualified stream counts each month. A stream qualifies when a listener plays at least 1 minute 30 seconds (or 60% of the song's duration, whichever is less). Payouts are disbursed monthly via M-Pesa.
Can I promote my music on MelodyPulse?
Yes. We offer promotional placements and sponsorship packages. Contact our team for a media kit and pricing.
